In Times of Crisis

"Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."1

Are you planning to find a medical formula or something to help you manage the anxiety caused by the problems you are experiencing? The formula is right here, in this precious verse that accompanies us today, and it gives us the way to stabilize ourselves emotionally and spiritually.

Joy: Being joyful will give us strength to see more than simply the negative in the midst of the crisis. Trust in God's promises and the smile will come again.

Prayer: When we go through difficult times, we can lose peace and faith sometimes tends to disappear. That is why it is important to remain in prayer constantly, so that God will give you peace and your faith will be strengthened.

Thanksgiving: When we give thanks in the midst of crisis, it has a positive effect on our attitude and behavior.

God's will: He will always do His perfect and good will in our lives, in spite of ourselves.

God is always in control in the midst of crisis.

Suggested Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you that in today's passage you remind us of the steps to take when we are going through crisis. It is through your Word that I have hope in the midst of difficult times. Your Holy Spirit gives me the joy I need, reminds me that I need to pray and give thanks at all times and in that way Your will is fulfilled in my life. Thank you in Jesus' name, Amen.
