Nothing Goes Unnoticed
And if God cares so wonderfully for the flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
The other day as I was outside, I saw a flower fall from a tree. I kept my eye on the light pink flower as it fell slowly and gracefully until it hit the ground. I pondered on the flower for a few moments because that small occurrence brought to mind something greater. In Luke 12:28 we read, “And if God cares so wonderfully for the flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you.” In this verse, God is promising that, just as He cares for the flowers that quickly wither away, He will take care of us even more. Not only does God care, but He cares wonderfully.
Sometimes we look at the world around us and feel small, maybe too small for God to care about us and our lives; but that is a big lie straight from the enemy. There are several verses throughout the Bible that tell us how much God cares about us. These verses include 1 Peter 5:7, Matthew 10:29-31, and Romans 8:38-39. God promises us so much and only requires us to have faith in Him and His ability to keep His promises. So let us put our complete faith and trust in the Lord because of His great love and care for us. Nothing goes unnoticed by our Heavenly Father.
Suggested prayer: Dear God, thank you for caring about me and loving me unconditionally. Sometimes I feel unnoticed by others and by You, but I know that You always see me. When I feel that way, please remind me of how much you care for me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
