I love Fall. I love watching the leaves change colors and the crisp air in the mornings. It is always a beautiful reminder of God’s attention to details as he created the earth. He knew that those beautiful details would be what we needed to remind us of his greatness in moments of uncertainty. With each passing season we experience new beauty, and this is how it is with God too. As we experience different seasons in our lives, we get to see new characteristics of who God is and the beauty of having a personal relationship with Him.

In moments of sadness, he is our Comforter. In moments of happiness, he celebrates with us. When we face challenges, he is our encourager. In moments of uncertainty, he is our steadfast hope. Regardless of what season we are facing, we can be sure that we are not alone. He is actively working in us through every circumstance. Sometimes that may mean that, just like many trees will lose their leaves before the newness of spring, many times God will empty us of the weight we are carrying to make way for new beauty. Leave your worries in God’s hands and trust that He will carry you through.

Suggested prayer: Dear God, your creation is perfectly beautiful and is constantly teaching us more about you. Just like you control all that happens in our universe, I pray that you help me trust that you are in control of my life and all that happens in it. Thank you for your great faithfulness in every season. In Jesus’ loving name, Amen.
