document.writeln("because we were in great need of a Savior. Jesus came to pay the price that we could not pay. God did this because of His great love and");
document.writeln("mercy. Therefore, while Jesus, God the Son, desires us to live in constant");
document.writeln("friendship with him, we are reminded that we are His servants,");
document.writeln("and whether you realize it or not, this is truly a privilege. <o:p></o:p></span></p>");

document.writeln("&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif\">While the term \'€śservant\'€ť may be frowned upon in today\'€™s \'€śpolitically");
document.writeln("correct\" society, it is extremely important for Christians to understand and");
document.writeln("live out this role. Samuel, in his youth, understood what the attitude of a servant");
document.writeln("looked like. In 1 Samuel 3:10, \'€śthe Lord came and called as before, Samuel!");
document.writeln("Samuel! And Samuel replied, Speak, your servant is listening.\'€ť Having the");
document.writeln("attitude of a servant of God means that we are attentive to His will. Samuel");
document.writeln("had to face difficult situations, and be the carrier of bad news at times, but Samuel");
document.writeln("was an essential instrument that God used to communicate to His people. It also");
document.writeln("means being aware of the \'€śslightest signals\'€ť from God to guide us. God is");
document.writeln("always watching over us, but we also need to be watching Him! God is the giver");
document.writeln("of all things, so we are dependent on Him. We know that God will meet our needs");
document.writeln("according to His will, but we also need to learn to humble ourselves before him");
document.writeln("and wait patiently on His timing. <span style=\"mso-spacerun:yes\">&nbsp;</span><o:p></o:p></span></p>");
